Necromancer Gets Best Buff Since Launch

Necromancer Gets Best Buff Since Launch - Diablo Immortal Latest 2023 Patch Notes
  • Diablo Immortal Latest 2023 Patch Notes

Diablo Immortal’s 2023 First Patch: Quell The Rising Damnation brings a variety of updates to existing game features such as changes to the Legendary Gems: Chip Of The Stone Flesh and Seeping Bile, Reforge Stones, New Events and more. (full patch notes here)

One of the most impactful part of the update is the buff of the 5 Star Legendary Gems:

  • Chip of Stoned Flesh: Your summoned creatures will now deal additional damage to enemies affected by Explosive Curse.

  • Seeping Bile: Your summoned creatures now have a chance to apply the Poison effect to enemies they attack.

This is a game changer and possibly one of the best buffs for Necromancer Class since game release.

Legendary Gem Effect:

Attacks have a 4% chance to Poison enemies, inflicting 65% + 263 damage every second for 6 seconds and decreases movement speed by 24%. This Poison spreads to nearby enemies if the victim dies. Can only affect each enemy once every 20 seconds.

In PvP Seeping Bile is definitely an S Tier 5* Legendary Gem due to the fact that it applies damage over time which can secure you the kill or denies the enemies ability to heal for as long as the Poison is up.

In PvE Seeping Bile it is also an S Tier 5* Legendary Gem and its effects are even better because it spreads from an enemy to another if the victim dies.

What does this mean for Necromancer and how it significantly increases the damage for this Class:

Before the update Seeping Bile was pretty much useless for the reason that the Summons would not Proc the Legendary Gem’s effect. The Summons Build is by far the best Single Target Raid type build and not only. Now after the changes the Damage will be remarkably increased especially in packs of mobs but also in Bosses and Raid Bosses.

In PvP on the other hand the ability for your summoned creatures to deal additional damage to enemies affected by the Explosive Curse from Chip of Stoned Flesh combined with the extra Damage from Seeping Bile will definitely step up your game and increase the overall amount of DPS in every fight.

The changes to the Legendary Gems: Chip Of The Stone Flesh and Seeping Bile affects all the Summoned creatures in all areas of the game and can impact other Classes and Builds such as Monk with Summons or Mage and Demon Hunter.

The new Update also highlights other changes:

Reforge Stones

Until now, Reforge Stones have only been purchasable by using Eternal Orbs. We want to allow more players to get their hands on this item and have made the following change to further this:

  • Reforge Stones may now be purchased using Platinum. Each Reforge Stone will cost 1,000 Platinum. To purchase Reforge Stones using Platinum, visit Yverius, the Smithing Materials vendor in Westmarch, or the in-game shop.

Iben Fahd’s Sanctum

  • Aspirant’s Keys and Gems will now be automatically looted from Iben Fahd’s Sanctum.

Social Notification Improvements

  • When you create a Helliquary Raid, members of your Warband and Clan will be notified via their respective chat channels, allowing them to join your Raid.

  • A Party Leader’s Bounties will now be automatically shared with other Party members unless those players already have four active Bounties. Players with active Bounties will be given the option to replace their current Bounties with the Party Leader’s Bounties.
