Diablo Immortal Devs Confirmed New Class And Game Modes

Community Lead PezRadar recently revealed the 2023 Roadmap for Diablo Immortal alongside the quarterly Developer Q&A Series.

Following the Developer Q&A Series, Diablo Immortal team has just answered a brand new set of questions from the community.

Straight from the bat, we have asked — When will players receive the ability to obtain additional Stash space?

Diablo Immortal developer team replied: “The need for increased Stash space is a popular request from our community. There are plans to allow players to expand their Stash space—creating the opportunity to store additional Sets and Legendary items

As part of the Q&A players have also expressed they’re curiosity and asked if — there is new PvP content coming? and if — There are any plans for more comprehensive or engaging events?

The team has confirmed that: “Yes! There are a few avenues we’re considering and will have more details for you about new modes soon“ later on revealing in the 2023 Roadmap that new Competitive PvP (player versus player) and Fishing Game Modes are on the way.

One other question was — How can I easily see events that are currently live in Diablo Immortal? at which the Developers have answered with:We have just the thing for you. In the near future, we're planning to add an in-game Calendar feature, accessible through the Codex, that will allow players to view both current and upcoming events

Last but not least Diablo Immortal Devs talk about the future of the game, replying to our question regards to — Class Balance with: “As Diablo Immortal continues to evolve, we'll evaluate the state of our Classes to determine if they too could benefit from additional tweaks

Diablo Immortal 2023 Roadmap

  • New Class and 4 Major Updates

Community Lead PezRadar has recently revealed on Reddit the 2023 Roadmap for Diablo Immortal

Blizzard shares its Diablo Immortal roadmap and 2023 plans for the massively multiplayer ARPG game, featuring four major updates, a new class, clan improvements, new competitive game modes and fishing.

While it might still be a while until the updates come live there’s plenty to look forward to in our Blizzard’s main free-to-play entry ARPG game.

Community manager Adam Fletcher a.k.a. ‘PezRadar’ shares details for the upcoming year of Diablo Immortal updates on the game’s Reddit page. Adam states that following the two major updates in 2022, there will be four major updates throughout 2023.

These updates will include “improvements to clans, in-game social features, and gameplay – while also introducing a new class and Helliquary bosses.” The idea of a new class coming to the game is possibly the most exciting news as it will introduce completely new skills and gameplay for players to eperience with.

Adam also highlights that new main and side quests are in the works furthermore developing the Diablo Immortal story and lore. He also says that increased gameplay variety is key focus for 2023, reassuring that the 4 Major Updates will not dissapoint.

Other things to expect are constant release of new Legendary Items as they will continue to roll out with future updates.

New PvP and Fishing mode

Adam ‘PezRadar’ Fletcher confirmed after the Q&A that new PvP and “other heavily modified events” are on the way, by saying: “To add to our gameplay variety, we plan to introduce a new competitive mode and fishing activity.”

This was briefly discussed, expressing the intent of creating new ideas for Diablo Immortal PvP in the near future.
