Zhezhi Build or Pass?
Zhezhi is an OP Tier Sub-DPS role Character that is ideal for teams with main DPS’s that benefits from Resonance Skill amplification, due to her Outro Skill. Zhezhi’s Ultimate deals off-field damage. Best bet with Zhezhi would be to get as much Energy Regeneration as possible to cast her Ultimate every 1-2 rotations.

Zhezhi's Ultimate deals off-field damage with a long 25 sec. cooldown.
You may need more or less regen. depending on your Team comp. Play around with what you have and be sure not to overstack Energy Regen. as her ultimate cooldown is quite long.

Best F2P (free-to-play) and other team comps for Zhezhi in Wuthering Waves
Zhezhi Main DPS Free to Play Team
In this F2P team Zhezhi is the main DPS. Zhezhi's Outro Skill will buff Sanhua's ice explosion and Glacio DMG, then in return Sanhua's Outro Skill buffs Zhezhi's Basic Attack DMG. A very good f2p combo option.
For this team, the best healer-support options are Baizhi or Verina

Gameplay
Baizhi starts the battle and charges the Concerto Energy until it is full so the next Resonator will be able to take the buff from Baizhi.
Switch to Sanhua and do her full combo. Make sure to fil up her Concerto Energy first before switching to Zhezhi.
When using Zhezhi, make sure to do her optimal combo then culminating into her Resonance Liberation. With Sanhua's Basic Attack Amplification, Zhezhi should be able to deal massive damage.
Switch back to Baizhi to do her combo and get her Outro Skill buff again.
Rinse and repeat.

A team focused on buffing the main DPS Jinhsi’s DMG dealt from her Resonance Skill.
With Zhezhi as Sub-DPS for Jinhsi you can provide Resonance Skill Amplification. In addition, Zhezhi will deal coordinated attacks using her Resonance Liberation off-field and increase Incandescence stacks.
For this team, the best support will be Verina but you can also opt to use Baizhi if you don't have her.
Gameplay
Start with Verina and charge the Concerto Energy until it is full. Use Verina's Resonance Liberation, if available, since it counts as a Coordinated Attack.
Once Jinhsi is fully charged, switch to Jinhsi. Verina's Outro Skill will increase her ATK and provides the entire party with an All-Type DMG Deepen buff.
Use Overflowing Radiance right away, a variation of Jinhsi's Resonance Skill, and then follow it up with another Resonance Skill. Execute Jinhsi's Basic Attack combo to use the final variation of her Resonance Skill, Illuminous Epiphany, to get Unison. Swap out to Zhezhi afterward. Do note that Jinhsi will not consume Concerto Energy since Unison acts as its substitute
As Zezhi, use her optimal combo to charge her Forte Circuit gauge. Make sure to also charge her energy to and execute her Resonance Liberation. Swap back to Jinhsi for her to get the Resonance Skill DMG buff from Zhezhi's Outro Skill.
As Jinhsi, make sure to fully charge her Forte Circuit gauge before using the Resonance Skill called Illuminous Epiphany to maximize its damage. Also, use her Ultimate whenever it is available.
Rinse and repeat.

Zhezhi is a 5-Star Glacio character who uses a Rectifier.
Rarity: 5-Star.
Element: Glacio.
Weapon: Rectifier.
Basic Attack: Dimming Brush.
Resonance Skill: Depiction.
Enhanced Resonance Skill 1: Stroke of Genius.
Enhanced Resonance Skill 2: Creation's Zenith.
Resonance Liberation: Spiritful Animation.
Forte Circuit: Ink and Wash.
Intro Skill: Brilliance in a Brush - Zhezhi attacks the target with Glacio damage.
Outro Skill: Carve and Draw - The incoming Resonator has their Resonance Skill damage Amplified by 20% for one second, or until they are switched out.
Inherent Skill one: Dash the Brush - When casting her Stroke of Genius or Stroke of Maestro Resonance Skill, Zhezhi's attack is increased by 6% for 22 seconds. This can be stacked up to three times.
Inherent Skill two: Ornament - After her Outro Skill is activated, Zhezhi restores 15 Resonance Energy to the incoming Resonator.
Zhezhi's kit is all about building 'Afflatus' stacks, with how many stacks she has affecting what her Resonance Skill and Heavy attacks do. Zhezhi builds Afflatus by performing Normal Attacks (basic, charged, plunging) and by using her Intro Skill.
Here's how Afflatus changes Zhezhi's attacks:
Conjuration Heavy Attack (with at least 30 Afflatus stacks) - Phantasmic Imprint: Middle is summoned.
Pressing the Resonance Skill (with at least 60 Afflatus stacks) - Phantasmic Imprint: Left and Right are summoned on the ground.
Holding the Resonance Skill, or pressing the Resonance Skill in mid-air (with at least 60 Afflatus stacks) - Phantasmic Imprint: Left and Right are summoned in the air.
Only one of each of Phantasmic Imprint: Left, Middle, and Right can exist at the same time, with each lasting for 15 seconds.
Wuthering Waves Zhezhi Resonance Chain
By getting duplicates of Zhezhi from pulling her on Banners, you will receive her Wavebands, and you can also purchase a few Wavebands from the in-game shop. Wavebands are an important item, as they allow you to unlock Resonance Chain levels, with each level either improving an existing Skill or passive ability.
Vitality (RC1): The maximum Inklit Spirits summoned by Zhezhi's Spiritual Animation Resonance Liberation increases by six.
Anatomy (RC2): When casting her Stroke of Maestro Resonance Skill, Zhezhi restores 15 Resonance Energy and increases her Crit Rate by 10% for 25 seconds.
Resemblance (RC3): When casting her Depiction Resonance Skill, or Stroke of Genius/Stroke of Maestro Forte Circuit, Zhezhi's attack increases by 15%, stacking up to three times and lasting for 25 seconds.
Hue (RC4): When casting her Spiritful Animation Resonance Liberation, the attack of Resonators on the team increases by 20% for 30 seconds.
Proper Structuring (RC5): For every three Inklit Spirits summoned by Zhezhi's Spiritful Animation Resonance Liberation, one extra Inklit Fairy is summoned to perform a Coordinated Attack, dealing 140% of Inklit Spirit's damage that is considered Basic Attack damage.
Imitation and Inheritance (RC6): When casting her Stroke of Genius or Stroke of Maestro Resonance Skill, an extra Fairy Sketch will be summoned to deal 160% of Stroke of Genius' damage, which is considered Basic Attack damage.
How to Play Zhezhi
Use Zhezhi's normal attacks to fill up her Forte Circuit.
Fill up her Forte Circuit with normal attacks and Intro Skill. When an Intro Skill is used, Zhezhi's Forte Circuit can get filled by half so it is recommended to do this.
Once filled up, use her Resonance Skills to summon up to 3 Phantasmic Imprints.
Learning how to summon Phantasmic Imprint is the best way to maximize Zhezhi's damage when on-field. There are various ways to summon Phantasmic Imprints but the easiest combo to think about is this:
Switch into Zhezhi and proc her Intro Skill. This should fill her Forte Circuit halfway.
Basic Attack x3
Use Resonance Skill then Basic Attack. This will summon three Phantasmic Imprints as long as your gauge is full.
Press Resonance Skill thrice to blink between all three Imprints.
Take note that you can only summon a total of 1 instance per type of Imprint you cannot summon Phantasmic Imprint - Middle if an existing one is on the field.
Teleport to these Phantasmic Imprints by tapping the Resonance Skill button. This enables Zhezhi to accumulate Concerto Energy quickly for her Outro Skill.
Once all three Imprints are on the field, teleport to each of them to deal quick and massive damage against the enemy. You can earn a total of 39 Concerto Energy Points for blinking between the three Imprints, so you can fill it up rather quickly.
Activate her Resonance Liberation, if available, to enable coordinated attacks.
If Zhezhi's Energy Regen is high enough, one full combo will be able to fill up her Resonance Liberation. Before switching to another character, make sure to activate Zhezhi's Resonance Liberation to enable coordinated attacks even when off-field.
Switch to the main attacker to deal huge damage from Zhezhi's buffs and coordinated attacks.
This is very useful when used with Jinhsi, Changli and Sanhua because Zhezhi's Outro Skill increases Resonance Skill DMG & Glacio DMG.
Zhezhi Works Perfectly With Jinhsi
Activating Zhezhi's coordinated attacks work perfectly with Jinhsi as the coordinated attack can accumulate Incandescence that increases Jinhsi's Resonance Skill multipliers. In addition, Zhezhi can buff Jinhsi's Resonance Skill which increases her damage even more!
Zhezhi Recommended Combos
Combo: Intro Skill → Basic Attack x3 → Resonance Skill (Tap) → Basic Attack → Resonance Skill (Tap x3) → Resonance Liberation → Use Echo (Heron) → Switch Out
This combo generates 3 Phantasmic Imprints and Concerto Energy fast and easy.
To top this up, use Zhezhi’s Resonance Liberation to activate coordinated attacks for off-field damage after the Main DPS takes the field.
