Recommended Sonata Set for Yangyang: Moonlit Clouds (5-pc)
2 set: Energy Regen +10%.
5 set: After using Outro Skill, increases the ATK of the next Resonator by 22.5% for 15s.
Recommended Main Echo for Yangyang: Bell-Borne Geochelone
This Echo is an essential asset that almost every team in the game aims to include thanks to its excellent offensive and defensive benefits. The reason for this is the excellent 10% DMG boost it provides throughout its duration but also 50% damage reduction barrier it provides as well. The only catch these buffs have is that they only last for 3 hits meaning after you've taken them you'll lose the buff until you can re-apply it again - even so almost every team aims to have 1 user of this echo. Almost always the main echo of choice for users of the 5P Rejuvenating Glow set.
Recommended Endgame Stats for Yangyang
*Important — CRIT DMG shows 150% and Energy Regen shows 100% when you check in-game. The recommended stats below show how much on top of it you need to get.
HP: 14000 or more
DEF: 1000 or more
Energy Regen: 0%
Yangyang doesn't need any energy generation rate to have her ultimate available enough for most teams to make use of her concerto effect when they need it.
But if you're playing Yangyang in teams that want to use her ultimate on cooldown or want to dedicate less field time to her perhaps only using her skill and Forte aerial plunge building some energy regeneation rate can assist with both of these.

This team composition revolves around Yangyang feeding Energy using her Outro Skill to Rover (Spectro) to charge their Resonance Liberation. With this being an early-game team comp, Baizhi will be the team's healer and also buff the team's damage.
Gameplay
Yangyang starts the battle and charges the Concerto Energy until the other character's Resonator icons glow up. She can use her Ultimate to group up small enemies and quickly use her Resonance Skill to damage the enemies before swapping out.
Once Rover (Spectro) is fully charged, you can switch to them so they can use their Intro Skill, dealing some Spectro DMG. Switching from Yangyang to the Rover (Spectro) will restore their Resonance Energy.
Once Rover (Spectro)'s Resonance Liberation can be used, cast it to dish out some AoE Spectro DMG. Then, follow it up with some Basic Attack to charge their Forte Gauge, use their Resonance Skill, and do a couple of Basic Attacks after.
Switch to Yangyang again once the Intro Skill has fully charged up. If you need healing, switch to your Baizhi and use their healing skill for some healing.
Repeat the steps until all enemies are defeated!

If you pulled Jiyan already but still have a few characters to group him up with, this team composition is viable since Yangyang can provide Resonance Energy for Jiyan so that he can use his Resonance Liberation faster.
Your third slot can be Baizhi or Verina if you already have her!
Gameplay
Yangyang enters the battle first and charges the Concerto Energy until the other character's Resonator icons glow up. Similar to the early game team, she can use her Resonance Liberation and Resonance Skill to group up and also damage enemies.
Once Jiyan is fully charged, you can switch to him to use his Intro Skill. Doing this will also restore Jiyan's Resonance Energy due to Yangyang's Outro Skill.
Use Jiyan's Resonance Liberation to enter Qingloong Mode and deal tons of DMG with his Resonance Skill and Heavy Attacks.
Switch back to Yangyang once the Intro Skill has fully charged up. If you need some healing, switch to your Support instead.
Repeat the steps until there are no more enemies left!

How to Play Yangyang
Charge Yangyang's Forte Circuit
Your goal during Yangyang's short field time is to optimally charge her Forte Circuit gauge by obtaining Melody stacks.
Abilities That Provide Melody
Intro Skill—Switch in to Yangyang when the Concerto Energy is full.
Heavy Attack—Zephyr Song: HA → BA or Dodge Counter → BA #
Full Basic Attack Chain BA1 → BA2 → BA3 → BA4
When Yangyang switches in when the Concerto Energy is full, she obtains one Melody due to her Intro Skill. Using her Resonance Skill will then provide an additional Melody.
The final way to get a Melody stack depends on the situation you are facing. In most cases, you want to perform 4 consecutive Basic Attacks to maximize her damage on-field.
Use Yangyang’s Charged Attacks
After obtaining three Melodies, cast Heavy Attack: Stormy Strike and then follow it up with a Mid-air Attack: Feather Release.
To do the charged attacks, long press the Basic Attack button. Then, tap the button again when Yangyang is in mid-air for her to dive down!
Use Her Ultimate to Gather Enemies
Yangyang's ultimate creates a cyclone in front of her, deals Aero DMG, and gathers nearby enemies. Ideally, you want to cast her Ultimate when Yangyang switches in so that all of her succeeding attacks hit all the gathered enemies!
Trigger Yangyang's Outro Skill
Yangyang's Outro Skill recovers four Resonance Energy per second, which lasts for five seconds. Trigger this ability by fully charging the Concerto Energy. Then, make sure that you swap out to your DPS to charge their Ultimate!
Charge Heavy Attack During Resonance Skill
You can hold Heavy Attack during her Resonance Skill so that it charges and immediately goes off once the animation ends. Use this as often as possible so that you can activate her Forte Circuit as soon as possible.
Swap Character Once Mid-Air Attack Lands
Once her Mid-Air Attack lands and she's grounded, you can swap out to a different character since the final animation will not get cancelled. Use this in her Outro Skill combos to maximize her Echo Skill's buff timers.

General Combo: Intro Skill / (HA → BA) → Res. Skill → HA → BA → HA → MAA
No Resonance Skill Combo: Intro Skill / (HA → BA) → (HA → BA) x2 → HA → MAA
This is Yangyang's standard DPS combo to generate Concerto and Resonance Energy. If she has the Energy to use her Outro Skill or Ultimate, you can look at her Basic and Full Outro Skill Combos respectively.
Basic Outro Skill Combo
Impermanence Heron / Bell-Borne Geochelone (echo) Combo: Intro Skill / (HA → BA) → Res. Skill → HA → BA → Echo Skill → HA → MAA → Outro Skill (During MAA's Grounded Animation)
Feilian Beringal (echo) Combo: Intro Skill / (HA → BA) → Echo Skill → Res. Skill → HA → BA → HA → MAA → Outro Skill (During MAA's Grounded Animation)
This is the Outro Skill Combo you'll use if her Ultimate isn't available. If you don't generate enough Concerto Energy with this combo, you may need to use a few more Basic Attacks or a Forte Circuit Combo until it's available.
Full Outro Skill Combo
Impermanence Heron / Bell-Borne Geochelone (echo) Combo: Intro Skill / (HA → BA) → Res. Liberation → Res. Skill → HA → BA → Echo Skill → HA → MAA → Outro Skill (During MAA's Grounded Animation)
Feilian Beringal (echo) Combo: Intro Skill / (HA → BA) → Echo Skill → Res. Liberation → Res. Skill → HA → BA → HA → MAA → Outro Skill (During MAA's Grounded Animation)
This is Yangyang's ideal full DPS rotation. When you do this combo with her Ultimate, she'll generate enough Concerto Energy to use her Outro Skill, so you won't have to worry about weaving in extra Basic Attacks to fill the meter.
