Recommended Sonata Set for Taoqi: Moonlit Clouds (5-pc)

2 set: Energy Regen +10%.
5 set: After using Outro Skill, increases the ATK of the next Resonator by 22.5% for 15s.

Recommended Main Echo for Taoqi: Bell-Borne Geochelone

This Echo is an essential asset that almost every team in the game aims to include thanks to its excellent offensive and defensive benefits. The reason for this is the excellent 10% DMG boost it provides throughout its duration but also 50% damage reduction barrier it provides as well. The only catch these buffs have is that they only last for 3 hits meaning after you've taken them you'll lose the buff until you can re-apply it again - even so almost every team aims to have 1 user of this echo. Almost always the main echo of choice for users of the 5P Rejuvenating Glow set.

Recommended Endgame Stats for Taoqi

*Important — CRIT DMG shows 150% and Energy Regen shows 100% when you check in-game. The recommended stats below show how much on top of it you need to get.

HP: 13000 or more
DEF: 1800 or more
Energy Regen: 30-60%
- The amount of ER Taoqi needs is dependent on how much field time you plan on dedicating to her. If you intend to rely on her Resonance Skill for the majority of her energy neglecting the rest of her kit we recommend using the higher end of ER recommended or even more than it.
- If you plan on making use of Taoqi's skill and her Forte Gauge combo as well you can build less. Aim for the following range of energy regeneration on Taoqi or more 30-60%+.

This team composition focuses on buffing Danjin's overall damage in battle using Taoqi's buffs. Taoqi can increase Danjin's Resonance Skill DMG.

Gameplay

Verina starts the battle and charges the Concerto Energy until the other Resonator's icons glow up.
Once Taoqi is fully charged, switch to her. Verina's Outro Skill provides the entire party with an All-Type DMG Deepen buff.
Use Taoqi's Resonance Skill to summon a shield and use her Resonance Liberation if it's available. Afterwards, switch to Danjin to increase her Resonance Skill DMG.
Use Danjin to deal a lot of DMG with her Resonance Skill and Heavy Attacks.
Repeat the steps until the enemy is felled.

How to Play Taoqi

Resonance Skill Reduces Damage Taken

When Taoqi uses her Resonance Skill, she will generate three Rocksteady Shields. Keep in mind that the Rocksteady Shields aren't actual shields, instead, they only reduce damage from enemy attacks.

When an enemy attacks you while you have a Rocksteady Shield up, one of the Rocksteady Shields will disappear and Taoqi receives a Resolving Caliber stack.

Resolving Caliber Provides Shields with Strategic Parries

Resolving Calibers can be consumed by using Strategic Parries from Taoqi's Heavy Attack "Rocksteady Defense" or a timed use of her Resonance Skill to parry enemy attacks. Resolving Calibers also be consumed through the use of Taoqi's Intro Skill.

When a Resolving Caliber is consumed from a successful Strategic Parry, an actual shield will be produced.

Resonance Liberation Deals DMG Based on DEF

Taoqi's Resonance Liberation can deal a lot of damage and it scales on the DEF stat. Do note that ATK stats will not increase the Resonance Liberation DMG by much compared to DEF.

Outro Skill Increases the Next Character's Skill DMG

Taoqi's Outro Skill can have the on-field character's Resonance Skill DMG Amplified. This increases their Resonance Skill DMG.

Combo: Intro Skill / (Full Forte Circuit → Parry) → BA 1 → BA 2 → BA 3 → Res. Liberation → Echo Skill → Outro Skill

The video was filmed in the Depths of Illusive Realm, where her Outro Skill cannot be used.

There aren't many combos for Taoqi since she's a very slow character that's reliant on her Resonance Skill being active. As such, this will be her general combo that's used for most situations, both for damage output and shield generation.
