Sanhua Build or Pass?
Sanhua is an A Tier Sub-DPS that deals good DMG. Her Outro Skill increases Basic ATK for the next character swapped in. Very good with Encore or Havoc Rover or other DPS’s that relies on Basic ATK DMG.

Best Sonata Effects for Sanhua
Recommended Sonata Set for Sanhua: Moonlit Clouds (5-pc)
2 set: Energy Regen +10%.
5 set: After using Outro Skill, increases the ATK of the next Resonator by 22.5% for 15s.
Recommended Main Echo for Sanhua: Impermanence Heron
Supportive Echo that can be run at the cost of a sizeable chunk of damage for the character who equips, trading personal gain for team benefits. Should always be used and immediately switch cancelled right before performing an Outro, leading to another DPS. When done so will grant the next character switching in 12% increased DMG% which when combined with the 5P Moonlit set which also grants 22.5% ATK% under the same conditions makes for a sizeable boost.
While the echo does lower the damage of whoever wears it, it grants a massive chunk of energy on use usually saving 1 or sometimes even 2 Energy Regen sub stats that may otherwise be needed by the wearer allowing for some damage to be recovered.

*Important — CRIT DMG shows 150% and Energy Regen shows 100% when you check in-game. The recommended stats below show how much on top of it you need to get.
ATK: 1800 or more
HP: 14000 or more
DEF: 900 or more

The team comp makes use of Sanhua's Outro Skill that provides a 38% Basic Attack Amplified buff for the next character that takes the field. This is extremely useful for teams that make use of a DPS that mostly deals damage using their basic attack, like Encore for example.
You'll also want Verina as your support since her 15% All-Type DMG Deepen buff can extend past Sanhua and also apply to Encore.
Gameplay
Start with Verina so that she can generate enough Resonance and Concerto Energy to activate her Resonance Liberation and Outro Skill respectively.
Once Sanhua's icon is glowing, activate Verina's Ult to apply a Photosynthesis Mark and swap to Sanhua to activate Verina's Outro Skill.
As soon as you take control of Sanhua, immediately use both her Resonance Skill and Liberation if they're available. Once all of your Ice Structures are up, use Heavy Attack: Detonate to blow them all up.
If done correctly, you should have enough Concerto Energy built up. Swap to Encore and use her standard Ult Attack rotation to deal massive damage to the enemy.
Repeat the steps until the enemy is felled.

Sanhua creates Ice Structures that she will eventually detonate all at once using a special charged attack. To maximize her damage, learn what skills generate these Ice Structures and create them everytime.

Detonate the Structures Using Heavy Attacks
Sanhua has a special heavy attack that requires proper timing from the player to execute. Players can hold the attack button and see a cursor moving back and forth over at the forte line. You must let go of the attack while on the blue area called the Frostbite area to execute the special Heavy Attack: Detonate move.
Frostbite Area Expands by Stacking Clarity
The Frostbite area (or the blue area) expands by stacking Clarity which will make it easier for players to time Heavy Attack: Detonate. Clarity can stack twice at max and can generate through various means.

All clarity stacks is removed upon casting Heavy Attack: Detonate.
Switch Sanhua With A Main-DPS Unit
Sanhua is one of the premier Sub-DPS in Wuthering Waves and that is because of her insane Outro Skill that have the next ally's Basic Attack Amplified by 38% for 14s. Once her Concerto Gauge is full, make sure the next character that takes the field is a Main-DPS character to maximize her Outro Skill.

Easy Resonance Skill Detonation Combo
Combo: BA1 → BA2 → BA3 → BA4 → BA5 → Res. Skill → Jump → Heavy Attack (Plunge) → Detonate
This combo focuses on the swift detonation of Sanhua's ice structures generated by Sanhua's skill. The timing will also ensure that Sanhua has a full stack of Clarity so you can reach the Frostbite area as fast as possible.
When charging up to BA5, make sure to dodge enemy attacks!
Switch-in Sanhua Combo
Combo: Intro Skill → Res. Liberation → Res. Skill → Jump → Heavy Attack (Plunge) → Detonate
This combo is the bread and butter combo for Sanhua whenever you need to switch her in as a Sub-DPS damage dealer. This maximizes her damage and at the same time maximizes the damage dealt.
