Mortefi Sub-DPS Team Example

Jiyan	Mortefi	Healer or Support

This team composition focuses on buffing Jiyan's overall damage in battle using Mortefi's buffs. Mortefi can increase Jiyan's Heavy Attack DMG.

Gameplay

Verina starts the battle and charges the Concerto Energy until the other Resonator's icons glow up.
Once Mortefi is fully charged, switch to Mortefi. Verina's Outro Skill will increase his ATK and provide the entire party with an All-Type DMG Deepen buff.
Keep attacking the enemy with Mortefi until his Resonance Liberation is up. Activate Mortefi's Resonance Liberation as soon as you can and then switch to Jiyan to increase the latter's Heavy Attack DMG.
Use Jiyan's Resonance Liberation to enter Qingloong Mode and deal a lot of DMG with his Resonance Skill and Heavy Attacks.
Repeat the steps until the enemy is felled.

How to Play Mortefi

Cast Enhanced Resonance Skill to Deal More Damage

Combo: Res. Skill → BA1 → BA2 → BA3 → BA4 → Resonance Skill: Fury Fugue (consumes 100 “Annoyance”)

When switching into Mortefi and his Ultimate has not yet been charged, do the combo shown above to accumulate Resonance Energy and also deal some damage.

Successfully executing the combo allows Mortefi to use his enhanced Resonance Skill!

Resonance Skill Restores More Annoyance

Using Mortefi's Resonance Skill followed by four Basic Attacks allows him to fill up his Forte Circuit gauge quickly because his Resonance Skill restores more “Annoyance” for 5 seconds.

Use Mortefi's Ultimate to Deal Coordinated Attacks

Mortefi's Ultimate is his most important ability since it makes Coordinated Attacks when switching out to other characters. Basically, Mortefi launches a follow-up attack when a character does a Basic Attack, firing 1 Mercato.

Mortefi also launches a follow-up attack when someone does a Heavy Attack, firing 2 Mercatos!

Outro Skill Buffs Heavy Attack Damage

Mortefi's Outro Skill is amazing since it can have the on-field character's Heavy Attack DMG Amplified by 38% for 14 seconds. His Outro Skill works well with characters such as Jiyan!

Ideally, you want to use Mortefi's Ultimate only when the Concerto Energy is full so his Outro Skill activates!

Mortefi Combos

Optimal Rotation Combo

Combo: Intro Skill → Res. Skill → Res. Skill: Draconic Hellfire → Basic Attacks → Res. Skill: Draconic Hellfire → Echo → Res. Lib → Outro

Start by using his Intro Skill followed by his Resonance Skill. Afterwards, use the Draconic Hellfire and then use Mortefi's Basic Attacks to fill up Concerto Energy and gather Annoyance for Draconic Hellfire.

After using a second Draconic Hellfire, use Mortefi's Echo. Finish it up by using Mortefi's Resonance Liberation and then switching to the DPS to buff them with his Outro Skill.

If you have Mortefi's Sequence Node 4 unlocked, you can use the Resonance Liberation then his Echo since the former now has a higher uptime than an Echo's buffs.
