Spectro Rover Build or Pass?
Spectro Rover is an B Tier Main or Sub-DPS Character that is cheap to Level and Upgrade. The Rover is the Main Character of the game and it is recommended to Build as new Expansions and Patches brings new Mechanics that allows you to play it differently. Ex: changing to Havoc Rover further down after completing the Main Story.

2 set: Spectro DMG +10%.
5 set: Spectro DMG +30% for 15s after releasing Intro Skill.
Recommended Main Echo for Spectro Rover: Mourning Aix
Transform into Mourning Aix and perform 2 consecutive claw attacks, each attack dealing 157.44% and 236.16% Spectro DMG respectively. After the transformation, increase current character's Spectro DMG by 12.00% and Resonance Liberation DMG by 12.00% for 15s.
CD: 20s.

While you are just starting out, this team composition will carry you while you are still trying to get your first 5-star Main DPS. The team revolves around Yangyang generating Energy for Rover (Spectro) for them to use their Ultimate.
Baizhi will be the team's healer unless you already pulled Verina early on!
Gameplay
Yangyang starts the battle and charges the Concerto Energy until the Resonator icons of the other characters glow up. She can use her Ultimate to group up small enemies and then use her Skill to damage the enemies before getting swapped out.
Once Rover (Spectro) is fully charged, you can switch to them, which triggers their Intro Skill. This makes Rover (Spectro) deal Spectro DMG when they enter the field. Switching from Yangyang to the Rover (Spectro) will allow them to recover some Resonance Energy for a few seconds.
When Rover (Spectro)'s Resonance Liberation can be used, use it to dish out some AoE Spectro DMG. Then, follow it up with some Basic Attacks and their Heavy Attack variations to charge the Forte Gauge, use their Skill, and do some Basic Attacks again while charging Concerto Energy.
Switch back to Yangyang once the Intro Skill has fully charged up. If you need healing, switch to your Support instead.
Repeat the steps until all enemies are gone!

In mid to late game, when you have multiple 5-star characters and will need more than one team in the Tower of Adversity, you can relegate Rover (Spectro) to the Sub-DPS role.
With them being a jack of all trades, Rover (Spectro) can fit in any team since their Outro Skill can create Stasis and slow down enemies for some time.
The Main DPS and Support of the team will depend on the characters in your account that will best fill those roles!
Gameplay
Rover (Spectro) enters the battle first and charges the Concerto Energy until other Resonators' icons glow up.
When the Main DPS is fully charged, swap them in. The stasis Outro Skill of Rover (Spectro) will trigger, slowing down time for 3 seconds.
Use the Main DPS' optimal combo to maximize their damage on the field. Continue using the Main DPS until the Concerto Energy has been fully charged.
Switch back to Rover (Spectro) once the Concerto Energy has been fully charged. If you need healing, switch to your healer instead.
Repeat the steps until defeating all the enemies on the field.

How to Play Spectro Rover
Charge Rover (Spectro)'s Forte Circuit to Use Enhanced Resonance Skill
When Rover (Spectro) is on-field, you want to charge their Forte Circuit gauge optimally by doing the combos that end with them using Heavy Attack: Aftertune.
This is because Heavy Attack: Aftertune provides a lot of Diminutive Sound to charge Rover (Spectro)'s Forte Circuit gauge!
Use Rover's Charged Resonance Skill
Whenever Rover (Spectro)'s Forte Circuit gauge is charged halfway, always use their enhanced Resonance Skill called Resonating Spin and then follow it up with Resonating Echoes.
To cast Rover (Spectro)'s enhanced Resonance Skill, press the Resonance Skill button and then the Basic Attack button!
Use Rover (Spectro)'s Ultimate to Deal Burst Damage
Rover (Spectro)'s ultimate deals some AoE Spectro DMG and is not a prerequisite to trigger any of their abilities. So, it can be used whenever it is available!
Trigger Rover (Spectro)'s Outro Skill to Stop Time
Rover (Spectro)'s Outro Skill does not provide any type of buff to the character switching in. But, you still want to trigger it since the stasis generated around the on-field character stops time for 3 seconds!
Can Heal Allies With Sequence Node 4
When you unlock Rover (Spectro)'s fourth Sequence Node, you can turn them into a pseudo healer since casting their Ultimate can heal allies for 5 seconds.
Spectro Rover Combos
Heavy Attack: Aftertune Combos
1. Basic Attack Combo
Combo: BA1 → BA2 → BA3 → BA (Heavy Attack: Resonance) → BA (Heavy Attack: Aftertune)
Land Rover (Spectro)'s Basic Attack 3 times. Then, follow it up with the enhanced Resonance Skill chain to finish the combo.
2. Heavy Attack Combo
Combo: HA → BA (Heavy Attack: Resonance) → BA (Heavy Attack: Aftertune)
We recommend executing this combo instead of doing the Basic Attack combo since it is faster. Start the combo with Rover (Spectro)'s Heavy Attack and then end it with the Enhanced Resonance Skill chain.
3. Dodge Counter Combo
Combo: Dodge (trigger Dodge Counter) → BA (Heavy Attack: Resonance) → BA (Heavy Attack: Aftertune)
This combo is also a quick way to activate Heavy Attack: Aftertune but is situational since it requires you to trigger Rover (Spectro)'s Dodge Counter by dodging enemy attacks!
Basic Outro Skill Combo
Mourning Aix / Mech Abomination Combo: Echo Skill → HA → BA 1 → BA 2 → Res. Liberation → Res. Skill → BA → Outro Skill
Bell-Borne Geochelone / Impermanence Heron Combo: HA → BA 1 → BA 2 → Res. Liberation → Res. Skill → BA → Echo Skill → Outro Skill
This is assuming Rover has enough Concerto Energy to use their Outro Skill.
This will be Rover (Spectro)'s basic combo every time they want to use their Outro Skill. Depending on your equipped Echo set, you'll weave in the Echo Skill either at the start or the end of the combo to maximize the bonus that they give.
Full Outro Skill Combo
Mourning Aix / Mech Abomination Combo: Intro Skill → Echo Skill → Res. Skill → BA (Resonating Echoes) → Basic Attack Combo → Res. Skill → BA (Resonating Echoes) → Res. Liberation (if available) → Switch Out
Bell-Borne Geochelone / Impermanence Heron Combo: Intro Skill → Res. Skill → BA (Resonating Echoes) → Basic Attack Combo → Res. Skill → BA (Resonating Echoes) → Res. Liberation (if available) → Echo Skill → Switch Out
If you don't have Concerto Energy to activate their Outro Skill, you can use this combo to fully charge it so that you can trigger their Outro Skill at the end of the combo. Like the Basic version, the combo will differ depending on your equipped Echo's Skill.
