Jiaoqiu Tips and Tricks:

Jiaoqiu main roles are support and de-buffer
His Ashen Roast DoT scales off ATK stats.
Jiaoqiu synergises with Acheron. His Ashen Roast gives Ultimate charges for Acheron during enemy's turn.
Don’t use Trend of the Universal Market on your Preservation units with Jiaoqiu and Acheron together in your team. Slashed Dream (Acheron Ultimate’s charges) can only increase by one during an enemy's turn.
Jiaoqiu can be used as a Support in DoT teams.

Jiaoqiu Kit (Honkai Star Rail):

Jiaoqiu is a 5-Star Fire character of Nihility path.

Basic Attack: Heart Afire - Deals Fire damage equal to 50% of Jiaoqiu's attack to a single enemy.
Skill: Scorch Onslaught - Jiaoqiu deals Fire damage equal to 75% of his attack to a single enemy and Fire damage equal to 45% of his attack to enemies adjacent to them. Jiaoqiu has a 100% base chance to inflict one stack of Ashen Roast on the primary target.
Ultimate: Pyrograph Arcanum - Sets the number of Ashen Roast stacks on enemy targets to the highest number of Ashen Roast stacks present on the battlefield. Then, activates a Field and deals Fire damage equal to 60% of Jiaoqiu's attack to all enemies. While inside the field, enemy targets take 9% more Ultimate damage, with a 50% base chance of being inflicted with one stack of Ashen Roast when taking action. While the Zone exists, this effect can trigger up to six times, and this effect can only be triggered once for enemies in each turn. This trigger count resets every time Jiaoqiu uses his Ultimate. The Zone lasts for three turns, and its duration decreases by one at the start of Jiaoqiu's every turn. If Jiaoqiu is knocked down, the Field will also be dispelled.

Talent (passive ability): Octave Finery, Quartet Finesse - When Jiaoqiu uses his basic attack, Skill, or Ultimate, there is a 100% base chance of dealing one stack of Ashen Roast to them. At one stack, this increases the initial damage enemies receive by 7.5%, and each subsequent stack then increases damage by 2.5% for a max of five stacks, lasting last two turns. When an enemy target is afflicted with Ashen Roast, they are also considered as being Burned at the same time, taking Fire DOT equal to 90% of Jiaoqiu's attack at the start of each turn.
Technique (overworld ability): Fiery Queller - Jiaoqiu creates a special dimension that lasts for 15 seconds. After engaging enemies in the dimension, he deals Fire damage equal to 100% of his attack to all enemies and has a 100% base chance of applying one Ashen Roast stack. Only one dimension created by allies can exist at the same time.

Bonus Trace 1: Pyre Cleanse
At the start of the battle, Jiaoqiu immediately regenerates 15 Energy.
Bonus Trace 2: Hearth Kindle
For every 15% of Jiaoqiu's Effect Hit Rate that exceeds 80%, his attack increases by an additional 60%, up to 240%.
Bonus Trace 3: Seared Scent
When the Zone exists, enemies entering combat will be inflicted with Ashen Roast. The number of stacks applied will match the highest number of Ashen Roast stacks possessed by any unit while the Zone is active, with a minimum of one stack.

Jiaoqiu Eidolons in Honkai Star Rail:

Eidolon 1: Allies deal 40% increased DMG to enemy targets afflicted with Ashen Roast. Whenever inflicting Ashen Roast on an enemy target via triggering Jiaoqiu's Talent effect, additionally increases the number of Ashen Roast stacks applied this time by one.
Eidolon 2: When an enemy is afflicted with Ashen Roast, increases the damage multiplier of the Fire DOT dealt by Ashen Roast to this target by 300%.
Eidolon 3: Increases Skill Level by two with a maximum upgrade level of 15, and increases the level of his Basic Attack by one, with a maximum upgrade level of 10.
Eidolon 4: When Jiaoqiu's Zone exists, reduces enemy target's attack by 15%.
Eidolon 5: Increases Ultimate Level and Talent by two, with a maximum upgrade Level of 15.
Eidolon 6: When an enemy target gets defeated, their accumulated Ashen Roast stacks will transfer to the enemy with the lowest number of Ashen Roast stacks on the battlefield. The maximum stack limit of Ashen Roast increases to nine, and each Ashen Roast stack reduces the target's All-Type Resistance by 3%.
