How to Change Class in Diablo Immortal
Class Change
Diablo Immortal has a variety of classes from which you can choose. If you’ve decided the class you pick isn’t for you, or you would love to explore a new class, Class Change will be available once you reach Westmarch with a 7-day cooldown since your last change and the best part of it is that it’s Free.
With class change, you can take your character and change it to a different class without loosing your progress.
Let’s take a look at exactly how Class Change work in Diablo Immortal.
How to Class Change
To change your class first you have to find the Shifting Flame Brazier which is located in Westmarch. . (Before we get too into this, I pronounce it like “Frasier.”)
The Shifting Flames Brazier is located in Selynne’s Basilica, north-east of Westmarch — see the navigation point on map below. Once there, click on the brazier to open the menu that explains the rules of class change. This feature is totally free of charge and you can do it as many times as you want with only one condition, there’s a 7-day cooldown since your last change.
Class Change Rules

Rules and Details:
You can customize your appearance the first time you change to a particular class.
The first time you change to a particular class, your Paragon points are fully refunded.
All your social group memberships are retained.
After class change, Demonic Remains equipped in the Helliquary will automatically be converted to the corresponding Demonic Remains that can be used with the same stats and slots. The Demonic Remains that are not equipped in the Helliquary cannot be used after class changing due to the mismatch of classes and attributes.
You are granted a new set of gear for your new class.
After changing classes, some class-specific cosmetics and gear will no longer be able to be equipped.
Your Battleground Leaderboard position will transfer to your new class.
You can revert to your previous class for free if you are not satisfied with your new class (once per character)
How Class Change affects your Gear
Changing your class immediately replaces any class-specific gear you have equipped with reservist items. Reservist Gear are placeholder items that are roughly the same power level.
One thing worth to mention is that if you Class Change from Intelligence based Class to Strength based Class your Green Items will lose their Set Bonuses (unlocked at 2-4 and 6/6) and you will have to Craft or farm these again.
You can Inherit Essence on Legendary Reservist Gear.
You don’t need to worry about your old gear. If you decide to change class back, your original gear will be available in your Inventory waiting for your to equip it. Meanwhile if you are running out of space you can always store the extra gear in your Stash.
Now that you know how to change your class. Have you ever considered to Change Servers as well?
