The Future of Diablo IV
At this annual gaming convention Gamescom, Diablo 4 developers discussed the future of the game. Some of the main key points and updates to follow in the near future are:
Blizzard is working on the “One Click Paragon Board Respec“ requested by the community.
Loot filters are in the works.
The overlay map might be coming back to the game after huge player feedback.
Unique item drop rates will be increased across the board.
Armory and Loadout Systems are in the works.
No further announcements for future expansions. Maintaining focus on Season 2 at the moment.
The question if Blood Knight will be coming to D4 has been answered with a strong “No“ as both Diablo Immortal and Diablo 4 are unique in their own ways.
Further Class Balance changes coming with the upcoming Season.
Nerfing something in the future will not be as impactful as in the past.
Seasonal and Eternal realms will be kept relevant so all types of players will be satisfied with future content.
New Endgame content to be added soon starting with the 5 bosses in Season 2, and Leaderboards in Season 3.
Looks like Diablo 4 is finally coming off the BETA.
I'm happy to say that the game is going in a positive direction.
