Diablo IV Server Slam New Beta

What to Expect During “Server Slam”

The upcoming Server Slam event provides players a chance to test the servers prior to launch while experiencing a small portion of Diablo IV. The Prologue and Act I, including Fractured Peaks, the first Zone, will be accessible during the event. Players can choose to play as Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Rogue, or Sorcerer.

While those who participated in the Early Access and Open Beta weekends may find some of the details familiar, there are several things to be aware of with the upcoming Server Slam event.

  • Firstly, any progress made on characters during the previous testing phases will not carry over to the Server Slam event, and any progress made during Server Slam will not carry over to the game's official launch.

  • Players will have the opportunity to level their characters up to Level 20, but will no longer receive Ability Points after reaching that level.

  • The drop rate of Legendary Items has been adjusted to match what players can expect in the final version of Diablo IV.

  • Finally, the Server Slam version of the game will include all of the bug fixes and updates that were detailed in the Open Beta Retrospective blog. (opens in new tab)

Diablo IV Gameplay HD

In addition Fractured Peaks offers a range of activities to help you level up your character. You can stop by Kyovashad to repair and buy new equipment, upgrade your healing potion, access the Stash, and more. In this area you can also play both Main and Side Quests that will take you through Sanctuary's rich story, World and Legion Events that let you strengthen your combat skills, and Dungeons to collect gear.

New BETA Biggest Challenge: Ashava

Diablo IV World Boss Ashava

Prepare yourself for a fierce encounter with Ashava, the only world boss available to fight in the Server Slam Event.

Defeating Ashava will be more challenging this Beta, becuase the level of characters cannot exceed Level 20.

Here are the times when you can engage in a battle with Ashava during the Server Slam:

  • The first encounter will begin on May 13 at 9 a.m. PDT, and thereafter every 3 hours until the last spawn on May 14 at 9 a.m. PDT.

Sever Slam REWARDS

Diablo IV Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy Server Slam Rewards

Defeating Ashava comes with a new earnable reward, the Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy.

Also, if you missed the Early Access and Open Beta weekends, by playing Server Slam you will have another chance at earning all the previous rewards. Players who unlock these rewards will receive them once Diablo IV launches.

If you previously earned any of the below rewards from the Early Access and Open Beta weekends, you DO NOT need to earn them again.

  • Initial Casualty Title: earned by reaching Kyovashad with one character.

  • Early Voyager Title: earned by reaching Level 20 on one character.

  • Beta Wolf Pack Cosmetic Item: earned by reaching Level 20 on one character.

  • Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy: earned by defeating Ashava with one Level 20 character.
