Official Blizzard Announcement
Blizzard Entertainment has confirmed that the game development is done!
After the conclusion of the open beta, the development of Diablo 4 has progressed rapidly. The upcoming action role-playing game (aRPG) from Activision Blizzard showcased an impressive appearance during the beta event, with millions of players delving into its immersive and grim open-world environment.
Diablo 4 will launch on 6th of June 2023 this summer on consoles and PC and the game is significantly different from previous installments in the series. It features cross-platform gameplay, an open world for players to explore, player versus player content (PvP), cooperative gameplay, world events, and more.
Activision Blizzard has received a lot of player feedback during the beta events and it has recently announced all the changes done to adapt certain aspects of the game (click here to see the latest Diablo IV Patch Notes —opens in new tab).
Diablo 4 is ready for release!
According to the Devs the game has reached Gold status and is currently in the process of mass production for public release. For those who have already played the betas and purchased the game, it is likely that you will have to download a sizeable patch before playing Diablo 4 on release.
—The phrase "Gold Master" originated from the final version of a game that was considered complete enough for distribution to retailers. Although the term has lost some relevance in current times, it remains a significant achievement in a game's development cycle. It was confirmed that the Diablo IV will keep receiving Patch Notes and Updates on a 3month basis after release. However, the version of the game available at the time of physical copy release will be based on this “Gold Master” Status.
On June 6th, the game will be available worldwide. For those who own the Deluxe Edition the Early Access starts on June 1st, subject to their time zone.
With 49 days left until thegame release, we're excited to share with you some of the Endgame mechanics and systems available.
