This Tier List will help you choose the best Echoes and Echo Sonata Sets for both early and late game for every class.

In this Tier List the Echo ranks are OP, S, A, making OP overpowered, S the best, A great, and B acceptable.

“What are Echoes in Wuthering Waves?”

Echoes are Character companions with unique abilities that can be used in battles and provide powerful Buffs and Stats.

Echoes can be equipped in Sets (2pc or 4pc) for powerful Bonuses and Buffs, and can also be leveled for extra Stats. Certain level thresholds unlock substats (lv.5/10/15/20/25).

In this Tier List 1-Cost Echoes are not included as they are only used for extra stats or to fill certain set pieces for Sonata Effects.

The only Ranked Echoes are the main Echo that can be used in battle. (mainly cost-4 and cost-3)

Echoes Guide and Explaination:

Jue:
- High AoE (multiple targets) Spectro DMG on summon.
- Buffs Resonator with “Blessing of Time“ for 15sec. to increase 16% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus.
- When the Resonator's Resonance Skill hits the target, inflict 16.00% Spectro DMG 1 time per second for 15s, that scales of the Resonator's Resonance Skill DMG. *Cooldown: 20sec
Dreamless:
- High Single Target and AoE (mutiple targets) Havoc DMG.
- Good for farming. Can clear multiple mining at once.
Inferno Rider:
- High DMG, with Skills dealing up to 200%+ DMG.
- ATK is increased for 15s after Skill activation.
- Hold: for quick Overworld traverse.
Crownless:
- High 4x Multi Combo DMG. (300%+ DMG)
- Increases Havoc and Resonance Skill DMG for the equipping character after transforming into Crownless.
- Can cancel out of Crownless form by dashing and still get the Havoc DMG Bonus.
Mech Abomination:
- Extremely effective attacker when summoned in battle.
- ATK is increased for 15s after skill activation
- The skill deals up to 100%+ damage.
  • Can cancel out of Mech Abomination form by dashing and still get the ATK Bonus. A general ATK boosting echo that's good for everyone!
Thundering Mephis:
- High 6x Multi Combo DMG. (600%+ DMG)
- Increases Electro and Resonance Liberation DMG for the equipping character after using the skill.
Impermanence Heron:
- Increases Resonance Energy of the equipping character and the ATK of the next character summoned.
- Skill deals 300%+ Havoc DMG.
Chasm Guardian:
- Can be found in 2 Sonata Sets, Rejuvenating Glow and Lingering Tunes.
- Good Echo for Healers and DPS who uses Lingering Tunes Sonata Effect.

Best Echo Sonata Sets for DPS, Sub-DPS, Healer/Support

Sonata Sets provide set bonuses when equipped (2pc/4pc). There are 9 Sonata Sets that provide different Buffs when equipped on the same Character:

“Which are the best Echo Sonata Sets in early game in Wuthering Waves?”

The best Echo Sonata Sets to use in the early game are a mix of 2 Sonata Sets. Equip 2 pieces from same set on one Character to activate 2 Sonata Effect Buffs at the same time.

“Which are the best Echo Sonata Sets in late endgame in Wuthering Waves?”

In late endgame it is recommended to have a full set of the same 5 Echoes to maximize the effect of the Set.

Best Sonata Sets for DPS

For Elemental Scaling DPS’s

Freezing Frost	Molten Rift	Void Thunder	2 set: +10% Elemental DMG 5 set: +% Elemental DMG and/or another BUFF
Sierra Gale	Celestial Light	Sun-sinking Eclipse

For ATK Scaling DPS’s

Lingering Tunes	2-pc Effect: ATK +10% 5-pc: While on field, ATK increases by 5% every 1.5s. This stacks up to 4 times. Outro Skill DMG +60%.

Equip 5pc Elemental Sonata Sets when available.

Lingering Tunes Sonata Set is great for most DPS’ses. Once you have enough Echoes, it is recommended to use a 5pc Elemental Sonata Set to maximize the Resonator DMG.

Best Sonata Sets for Sub-DPS Supports

Sonata Set	Bonus Effect
Moonlit Clouds	2-pc Effect: Energy Regen +10% 5-pc: After using Outro Skill, increases the ATK of the next Resonator by 22.5% for 15s.

Sub-DPS Resonators in Wuthering Waves can be used for both dealing DMG (when used) and supporting the Main DPS with Outro Skills or Sonata Effect Buffs.

Best Sonata Sets for Healers

Sonata Set	Bonus Effect
Rejuvenating Glow	2-pc Effect: Healing Bonus +10% 5-pc:Increases the ATK of all party members by 15% for 30s upon healing allies.

Rejuvenating Glow 5pc set is the best option for Healers, as the Sonata Effect will improve both the overall healing and on top of that will give extra ATK to all party members upon healing.
