Everything New in 2.3 Massive Update for Honkai Star Rail: New Relics, New Plannar Ornaments, Free 5-Star Light Cone, Banners and Re-runs, New Game Modes and more.

Version 2.3 of Honkai: Star Rail – Farewell, Penacony – will be released on June 19, 2024, on PC, iOS, Android, and PS5. That is in less than 2 weeks.

With the new Version comes new Story and Trailblaze Mission alongside new Areas to Explore:

New Endgame Modes

Simulate Universe: Divergent Universe

Screwllum and Dr. Ratio came up with a new Simulated Universe: Divergent Universe, and this one is so much different than the others. This will be a ground breaking update to the whole gamemode. In short, in this Simulated Universe you are NOT limited by character downloads and you can use any Unit you have, change teams throughout the gamemode and restart your bossfights so you don’t fail.

Also if you have low level units if you use them here they will be automatically Leveled to maximum level and on top of that they will receive a pre-set Light Cone and Leveled Traces. So you can basically play anything you have for better combos and team synergies.

In this new Simulated Universe there will be new Mechanics called Equation this is basically the blessing just like in the other Sim Unis, the difference here is that it will have bonuses from 2 paths at once.

After you finish your run you can save your result, including blessings and buffs and then you can just rechallenge the boss to instantly obtain the plannar ornaments without having to replay the whole deal. So basically it’s a Simulated Universe farm and skip. Once you clear it once save it, rinse and repeat. Just choose the plannar ornaments you want, fight the boss and take the rewards. Easy nice and efficient.

With this new Simulated Universe, 2 new Plannar Ornaments will be added to the game: Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves and Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern.

New Plannar Ornaments

New 5-Star Light Cone

For the first time in a while, a new 5 Star Light Cone will be added to Herta Shop from Simulated Universe.

2. Apocalyptic Shadow

Apocalyptic Shadow will be the new cyclical permanent event, same as Pure Fiction and Memory of Chaos.

The main focus here will be quick wave-clears to spawn and defeat the bosses at the end. This game mode holds special modifiers same as the others.

Apocalyptic Shadow will be refreshed every two weeks with fresh content.

Rewards

First Time Clearance of Apocalyptics Shadow gives a 4-star copy of Xueyi, 300jades and One Self-Modelling Resin.
The maximum number of Stellar Jades earned in Apocalyptics Shadow will be 800.

2.3 Endgame Rewards Changes

Starting from 2.3 all the endgame modes will permanently give increased Stellar Jades. The maximum number of Stellar Jades will be increased from 720 to 800. Up to a total of 2,400 Stellar Jades can be earned through these modes per update. (That’s exactly 15 pulls)

New Relic Sets

2 new Relic Sets will be added to the game in version 2.3.

Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge (a set suitable for break and super break units):

2-Piece Effect: Increases Break Effect by 16%.
4-Piece Effect: If the wearer's Break Effect is 150% or higher, ignores 10% of the enemy target's DEF when dealing Break DMG to them. When the wearer's Break Effect is 250% or higher, the Super Break DMG they deal to enemy targets additionally ignores 15% of the targets' DEF.

The Wind-Soaring Valarous (a set suitable for FUA and Ultimate DPS units):

2-Piece Effect: ATK increases by 12%.
4-Piece Effect: Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 6%. After the wearer uses a follow-up attack, increases the DMG dealt by their Ultimate by 30%, lasting for 1 turn(s).

Note: The Path of Erudition will also receive new Materials for Leveling and Upgrading in accordance to this. (for Jade mainly)

Banners and Re-runs

Event Warp: Phase 1

Phase 1 of the 2.3 Banner schedule begins with Firefly and Ruan Mei. Firefly is our new 5 Star Fire Destruction DPS, and Ruan Mei is a returning 5-Star Ice Harmony.

Version 2.3 Phase 1 Banners Release Date is June 18, 2024 and lasts until roughly July 10.

Event Warp: Phase 1 Firefly and Ruan Mei Signature Light Cones — **5-Star Limited LC: Whereabouts Should Dreams Rest** (Destruction)**, Past Self in Mirror LC Re-Run** (Harmony)

4-Star LC: Memories of the Past, Day One of My New Life, and Eyes of the Prey.

Event Warp: Phase 2

Phase 2 of the 2.3 Banner schedule ends with Jade and Argenti. Jade is a Quantum character that follows the path Path of Erudition, and Argenti is the Re-run.

Version 2.3 Phase 2 Banners is expected to start on July 10, 2024 until July 30, 2024 (UTC-5).

7 Other New Characters

Aside from Firefly and Jade, The Star Rail team ended the 2.3 Special Program with a quick hint to all the new Upcoming Characters in 2.4 and 2.5, and they hinted to 7 Other new characters.

These are: Feixiao, Jiaoqiu, Moze, Huaiyan, Yunli, Lingsha and finally our new March 7th.

Honkai: Star Rail version 2.3 will feature the following events:

Origami Bird Clash – a Candy Crush like multiplayer game mode. Where you can even play with your friends.
Stellar Shimmer – a combat event with extra modifiers same as other events in the past.
Gift of Odyssey – the well awaited login event that gives ten limited pulls to everyone.
Planar Fissure – the double Planar Ornaments in Simulated and Divergent Universe.
And lastly the Realm of the Strange – which gives double Relics in Caverns of Corrosion.
