Diablo Immortal 2.0 Update Tempest New Class

Diablo Immortal | Major Update - May 23rd

LEVEL & DIFFICULTY CHANGES

The overall structure of Levels and their relation to Hell and Inferno difficulty levels in-game in changing:

  • Paragon level cap will be reduced from level 1399 to 299

  • Difficulty modes are reduced from 15 to 4

  • Hell levels 1-8, and Inferno Difficulty 1-6 will be condensed down to 3 different Hell difficulties

The overall changes:

  • Hell I-VIII is now Hell I

  • Inferno I-III is now to Hell II

  • Inferno IV-VI is now Hell III

Max Paragon level at those levels will now become 270. After the adjustment, equipment and Demonic Remains will be adjusted with the same attributes.

This change is being made to make Diablo Immortal sustainable for all kinds of players now and into the future.

Challenge Rift Updates

Challenge Rifts will be reduced from 600 to 200 levels. Players in Hell I or lower can challenge up to level 100. Players in Hell II or higher can challenge up to level 200 in the Challenge Rift.

Historical First Achievements will be kept. Completing all 200 Challenge Rifts will grant you 8,250 Enigmatic Crystals and 54,540 Cryptic Crystals, the same total as before. *You cannot re-earn these rewards if they’ve been earned before.

Helliquary Update

To keep the Helliquary bosses relevant, the following changes have been made:

Hell I bosses— Ophinneb the Skin-Veiled, Catarag the Strangling Sun, Dymdrail the Crawling Woe, Apothrus the Tamer of the Fallen, Phangwrth the Warmth-Feaster.

Hell II bosses— Strazos the Steadfast Decay, Gebdu the Mountain Breaker, Kuluul the Crooked Grin, Yamnaal of the Deluge, Sarodaan the Sky-Sunderer.

Hell III bosses— Iphael, Knight of Broken Stone, Drespaigh the Blightspewer, Elsauli the Shardheart, Iscea the Twofold Rebirth, Peisthal, Underearth Empress.

Warband Updates

Current Helliquary Warband progress will transition to the new Helliquary boss progress. *Any previously earned rewards cannot be earned again.

After the updates, some Helliquary bosses and their Warband Banner will be unobtainable. If you already own these Banners, they will remain in your inventory. The changes are for the following bosses: Vitaath the Shivering Death, Gorgothra the Claimer, Beledwe, Gishtur, and Izilech the Misshapen.

Codex Updates

With this adjustment, relevant content in the Codex will also be changed (Guide, Conquest, Hero’s Journey, Achievements).

NEW EVENTS CENTER CYCLE

The second cycle of the Events Center, starts from May 17 to June 18. Finish task to earn Seals of Triumph. Full list of eligible events that reward Seals of Triumph, see the bottom-left side of the Events tab.

Participating in events rewards you with:

  • 1-Star Legendary Gems

  • Normal Gems

  • Telluric Pearls

  • Legendary Items

  • A unique Avatar frame

  • Aspirant’s Keys

You can still claim rewards from the last cycle until the end of that cycle on May 21.

Other Updates

Class and Battleground Balance

The following adjustments have been made to the following Class skills across Diablo Immortal.

Barbarian

  • Heartless Terror (Demoralize): Can now be used while affected by knockback or control effects. Burst/explosion effects should no longer follow the character.

  • Hammer of the Ancients (Baseline): Point of impact has been moved slightly back to accommodate visual effects. Note that this will also apply to Hammer of the Ancients inscriptions using the same effects.

  • Bitterwind (Whirlwind): Radius increased from 2 to 2.5 meters; visual effects have been adjusted accordingly.

  • Fallow Field (Whirlwind): Radius increased from 2 to 2.5 meters; visual effects have been adjusted accordingly.

  • North Wind (Whirlwind): Radius increased from 2 to 2.5 meters; visual effects have been adjusted accordingly.

  • Bergbreaker (Wrath of the Berserker): Cooldown between retaliations reduced from 0.8 to 0.5 seconds. Damage increased by 22%.

Blood Knight

  • Woundwell (Umbral Lance): Cooldown reduced from 9 to 6 seconds. Damage increased by 15%.

  • Bardiche of Below (Whirling Strike): Damage increased by 15%. Blast effect now occurs sooner.

  • Count of the Eves (Whirling Strike): Damage reduction per stack reduced from 5% to 4%.

  • Oversight (Swarm of Bats): Amount healed as a percentage of damage dealt has been reduced across all mastery levels.

    • Level 1 Mastery: Reduced from 15% to 12%.

    • Level 2: Reduced from 19.5% to 15%.

    • Level 3: Reduced from 24% to 18%.

    • Level 4: Reduced from 28.5% to 21%.

Crusader

  • Bowyer’s Remose (Spinning Shield): Cooldown reduced from 9 to 6 seconds. Damage increased by 15%.

  • Conjuration of Light (Baseline): In Battleground and Rite of Exile, the duration of the immunity effect from Conjuration of Light will be reduced by 50% each time a player receives the buff again within 20 seconds. (First: 100%; second: 50%; third: 25%, etc.)

  • Hale Pilgrim (Draw and Quarter): Duration of knockback immunity has been reduced across all mastery levels.

    • Level 1: Reduced from 3 to 2.5 seconds.

    • Level 2: Reduced from 3.6 to 3 seconds.

    • Level 3: Reduced from 4.2 to 3.6 seconds.

    • Level 4: Reduced from 4.8 to 4 seconds.

  • Luminous Reign (Falling Sword): Damage reduced by 15%. Each time an instance of damage is resolved, an enemy will be damaged at most once.

  • Air Splitter (Falling Sword): Cooldown reduced from 9 to 6 seconds. Damage increased by 15%.

Gauntlet Boss Rotation

You will now be able to collect first kill rewards before Helliquary Gauntlet bosses are rotated out.

Shadow Assembly Mailbox Rewards

Shadow Assembly rewards will no longer be automatically deleted from your mailbox, but the Marks will not count towards Rank progression in the new reign.

Rotating Achievements

Five Trophies are being retired. If you earned these Trophies before, you will still be able to claim the rewards. The Trophies will be moved to Legacy, which will hold any Retired Trophies:

  • Vitaath the Shivering Death: Defeat Vitaath the Shivering Death in Hell V in under 2 minutes.

  • Gorgothra the Claimer: Defeat Gorgothra the Claimer in Hell V in under 2 minutes.

  • Gishtur and Beledwe: Defeat Gishtur and Beledwe in Hell V in under 2 minutes.

  • Izilech the Misshapen: Defeat Izilech the Misshapen in Hell VI in under 2 minutes.

  • Vhansoon, Desolation’s Scourge: Defeat Vhansoon, Desolation’s Scourge in Inferno I in under 2 minutes.
