Game Changer Hidden Elemental Damage Discovered
Diablo Immortal, like many other games, is no different when it comes having a vast assortment of attributes, stats, and damage modifiers.
In this post we will look on how the damage numbers are generated and how to affect them.
Currently in Diablo Immortal there’s only 2 types of Damage:
Normal Damage; which is the result of your Basic Damage + any % of Damage Increase modifiers received from various sources as Legendary Gems, Items etc. Normal Damage is displayed in white numbers above the enemy hit.
Critical Hit Damage; which is the result of the Critical Hit Chance mechanic in the game. A critical hit has a certain % chance of happening. This can be increased by Skills, Legendary Gems and Items. When Critical Hit lands it will deal double the Normal Damage and will be displayed in yellow numbers
With that being said, is there any other Damage modifier better than the ones currently known?
Recently it has been discovered that using a combination of certain skills with specific essence inherited on the Legendary Items can trigger a new type of damage called “Firestorm”
This damage modifier can’t be found anywhere in the game’s Codex so it’s pretty much a secret to any other player who hasn’t paid much attention to these type of particularities. Here’s how you can do it.
Diablo Immortal Monk Player & Youtuber MisterMen has highlighted this method on how to proc the new Elemental Damage that no one knows about, and how much Damage Output you can get from it.
The secret stat modifier “Firestorm” can be activated by having 2 specific Essences inherited on Shoulders “Storm Spirit“ and Chest “Shimmerlinn“ and by using a combination of 2 skills “Cyclone Strike“ and “Wave of Light”.
*Storm Spirit allows Cyclone Strike to generate a tornado that continually damages all nearby enemies and Wave of Light now releases a wave of energy that damages and burns all the enemies around.
In terms of numbers this new Elemental Modifier comes with pretty big damage output and can be felt straight away in any game modes such as Challenge Rifts, Farm and Boss Fights.
Having said that, using this specific skill set triggers “Firestorm”
Firestorm can be triggered by any class and by a combo between class skills in your party.
