Castle Cyrangar Guide

The Defense of the Cyrangar is a weekly event that can be joined either in Warband, solo or with a party.

Currently there are two difficulties Normal Mode (weekly) where you have to complete 8 waves of enemies and Endless Mode (unlimited times). In addition to Normal Mode, warband members can test their powers against an endless spawn of enemies in Endless Mode which ends when the castle gates are destroyed.

Defense of Cyrangar game mode can be found through Warband NPC in Westmarch.

Requirements:

Solo or Party.

4 or more Warband Members are required to obtain a Leaderboard ranking.

Rewards

Upon completion, a score will be earned based on how long they survive. Top 10 warbands will earn a special frame and additional weekly rewards. You can also get “Warband Activity Points”, Experience and Legendary Items. One other thing to mention is that players who leave early will only receive limited rewards.

Tips & Tricks

What we noticed so far is that Crusaders are really impactful for this mode. Using the Banner they can buff the party members and provide immortality for a couple of seconds.

Also Set Items are very important here. For example 6 piece set of Vithu’s Urges with Crusader’s Banner provides a massive healing effect for all the party members.

Freeze mage alongside any other Slow related Skills and Classes would increase your survivability rate aswell.

On another note Combat Rating does not really matter as much in Defense of Cyrangar compared to other game modes like Challenge Rifts. So be sure to have the best build ready as this is more important.
