Diablo 4 First Expansion: Vessel of Hatred
On November 3, Diablo general manager Rod Ferguson and production directors Tiffany Wat and Chris Wilson took the stage at BlizzCon’s opening ceremony and announced the very First Expansion coming to the game Vessel of Hatred.
“For our first Expansion, you’ll be taken somewhere more sinister than ever before—a place where hatred’s influence continues to strangle Sanctuary into submission…”
Vessel of Hatred continues the story in Diablo 4 teaching us more about the prime evil Mephisto and his plans for the Sanctuary.
For the first time since Diablo II, players can return to the land of Nahantu. Neyrelle faces a new challenge in the depths of Nahantu’s jungle and struggles to control one of the Prime Evils: Mephisto. The action takes place 75 years later whithin the lore and continues from where we last left the main story.
With Vessel of Hatred Expansion:
a new Region will be available to visit, Nahantu.
new Campaign Story will be playable.
brand-new Jungle Class will be added to the Diablo universe.
new systems will be added to the game.
Vessel of Hatred will be the first paid content update for Diablo 4 and will be released late next year in 2024.
More information about it will be published next summer.
